Several years after graduating college, Nathalie moved to San Francisco. It was there that she took a surface pattern design intensive which launched a life long career. In the early 90's, Nathalie and her husband joined forces and founded Foliage Inc., a surface pattern design studio and in order to grow the business further, they to moved to Manhattan in 2004. For over 25 years Nathalie has been creating and selling her designs to many leading brands like Target, GAP, Nike, The Company Store, American Greetings and H&M, just to name a few. While in San Francisco, Nathalie and her team were an integral part of the launch of Pottery Barn Kids and also worked closely with Williams Sonoma on developing collections for table top. All while creating her own prints, Nathalie represents and art directs an international collective of surface pattern designers. She prepares trends, colors and inspirations, for her designers and participates in major trade shows such as Indigo, Printsource NY, Blueprint and Surtex where she presents portfolios of designs for license and purchase. Nathalie is always searching for what's next, digging deep for new themes, colors, techniques and design trends. She's always looking for inspiration all over the world and in all the world around her.

With a never ending curiousity to evolve as a designer and artist, Nathalie recently attended a workshop in NYC and successfully learned the art of modern punch rug. Finding it inspirational to step away from the digital world, Nathalie went fast and furious learning the many aspects of rug design and manufacturing. Nathalie uses her colorful hand drawn patterns as inspiration to create rugs, and
artwork which she now exhibits and sells. Please stay tuned as this part of her career continues to evolve.
